Back to Ihaveanidea's "Portfolio Night in Canada"... Yes, it was an awesome experience, but it was even better when I met up with, arguably, one of the best Creative Director's in the country! I wasn't actually suppose to see him that night for a review, but I knew that I'd regret it, if I didn't.

So I introduced myself. Told him how I admire all his work, and asked if he had a moment to flip through my book (his opinion was very crutial at this point). His feedback went as follows - I had strong concepts, and an excellent design sense. He continued to say that they just hired 2 A.Ds, so there were no openings at that time. Keep in touch with me, though. Well, he didn't drop the bomb on me. This was good enough for me.

His message (not in exact words): Make small projects speak loud! Take the opportunity to make the little things turn to gold.
