The Gala started in a theatre a couple of blocks away from the Ritz. It was very nice, had a nice warm reception with tropical girls in bikinis and then we were treated to guess what. No I bet you can't guess. C'mon try harder. Ok, I'll tell you.

Two hours of schmoozing and meeting great people passed by in a flash. I love meeting people from far away places. This time I chated with Thirasak Tanapatanakul a Creative Director from Creative Juice (a TBWA company) in Bangkok. Great guy and he took home two Clios so he'll be dancing in Bangkok.

The show went well, I wish I could tell you exactly who won what but all I can tell you is that it was spread out across the globe, Crispin Porter + Bogusky won the best of show with the Subserviant Chicken and other notables were Taxi with the short film festival which won in tons of categories and got the best and loudest reaction from the crowd out of all the work.
