ihaveanidea presents the D&AD Awards 2008 North American Screenings – Oct. 21st- Nov. 6th
Take a look at your agency’s trophy case and you’re sure to find many shiny pieces of hardware, representing excellence in advertising and design creativity. If your agency is extremely gifted, you might find a few Yellow Pencils amongst them. And if you’re off the Richter scale talented, you just might discover an ultra rare Black Pencil, likely the centerpiece of the display.
That’s because Yellow and Black Pencils are the currency of the D&AD Awards, perhaps the most prestigious award show in our industry.
And ihaveanidea wants to give you all a taste of that prestige.
Everyone’s a winner, but some win more than others.
Not only will you go home at the end of the evening with ideas spinning in your head (and perhaps your head spinning for other reasons,) but one lucky attendee in each city will also receive a free D&AD membership, which includes the coveted, limited edition D&AD Annual 2008.
A British Invasion
The D&AD Awards started over 45 years ago in London, UK, but its legendary winners come from all points of the globe. This is the first time D&AD has brought the best of the best work in its Annual to screen publicly in this way on this side of the Atlantic.
ihaveanidea is excited to invite the advertising and design communities of New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Toronto and Montreal, for a night of jaw dropping work… with a little bit of schmoozing and socializing on the side. After all, it’s one thing to view brilliant work, but we at ihaveanidea want to celebrate it too.
