(TORONTO, April 11th, 2006) On May 4th, 2006 ihaveanidea, Advertising’s Intellectual Archive, will be presenting Portfolio Night IV across North America. The largest simultaneous advertising portfolio review ever held in the world marks its fourth anniversary by adding New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Boston to its growing roster of host cities. Canadian cities include Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Halifax and Calgary, all with one goal – to help North America’s emerging and young creatives get one step closer to their dreams.

Students enrolled in advertising programs, graduates, and up-and-coming creatives will have the opportunity to spend valuable face-to-face time with North America's most prestigious creative directors and leading industry professionals. With major support from DDB Worldwide and DDB Canada, ihaveanidea has also partnered with Canadian agencies TAXI, WAX, Change Advertising, Bos and Rethink and more than 100 of North America’s top creative directors to ensure the industry’s future creatives are the best of breed. US agencies hosting Portfolio Night IV in their respective cities include, New York’s Strawberry Frog, San Francisco’s Butler Shine & Stern, Chicago’s Ogilvy & Mather and Modernista! in Boston. Young creatives are encouraged to attend this event in one of the nine cities across North America where they will have the opportunity to speak with a minimum of three world class creative directors.

"We are very proud to see how far Portfolio Night has come. Having major US agencies join us this year is a clear indication of how the industry is realizing the importance of a united effort to nurture and fuel the advertising industry, to ensure it reaches new heights. Our mandate at ihaveanidea is to always be thinking on a global scale and Portfolio Night is no exception. This initiative started in Canada, now we're going intercontinental with plans to take Portfolio Night global as early as next year." says Ignacio Oreamuno, founder and director of ihaveanidea.

Cost to participate is $35. All aspiring creatives or juniors with an advertising portfolio must register on-line at ihaveanidea’s Portfolio Night website that launches April 12th .
