IHAVEANIDEA RELEASES 2nd SONG BY PORTFOLIO NIGHT 5 WORLD TOUR BAND “BURN BACK”
April 18 | 2007
(TORONTO, April 18, 2007) ihaveanidea – Advertising’s Intellectual Archive – releases the 2nd single “Squeeze my Whipple” from a specially recorded series by legendary ‘70s hard rock band Burn Back. The band will be headlining the Portfolio Night 5 World Tour on May 3rd in over 23 cities around the world.
ihaveanidea’s Portfolio Night 5 is the world’s largest simultaneous advertising portfolio review, featuring a uniquely designed portfolio review process in a “speed-dating” setting. The event helps students and aspiring young creatives around the world break into the ad industry, and involves the top creative directors in each participating city.
Burn Back's second Portfolio Night 5 single 'Squeeze My Whipple,' is a rebellious tour de force written from the perspectives of advertising students. "Kids know how it is," explains Rupert Stannick (vocals/bass). "They work their arses off to put their portfolios together, they jump through hoops to get an audience with some fat cat creative director, and the only advice the creative director can come up with is to read that 'Whipple' book by that Sullivan chap. Of course they've already read it! Tell them something new, for crying out loud!"
