And that he had high standards.

Actually… he was a knob.

A knob of such epic proportions, he could probably be seen from outer space.

Yes, he was a knob who wouldn’t know good work if it jumped up and bit him.

And I was lucky enough to work for him for over 2 1/2 years.

See, working for him was one of the best things that ever happened to me.

I learned that “How NOT to do it” is one of the most valuable lessons you can learn.

And it’s one the things I want to talk to you about tonight.

Many of you are about to embark on your careers in advertising.

In those 2 1/2 years, I observed how NOT to run a creative company.
